What attracted me to nursing was the fact that in order to be truly good
at the job itself, you have to connect with others. This includes
discovering their definition of wellness, of pain, of comfort, and of
suffering. It's an honor to peek into someone's life and meeting him or
her where they are vulnerable in order to build them up through
education, prayer, or simply listening.
