On Mandatory Ebola Quarantines: Candy Treft, RN @TheGypsyNurse #NursesFightEbola

"Personally, I think the quarantine should be mandatory for those that have had direct contact with symptomatic Ebola patients.

The only way to control the spread of the disease is to stop it and if we won't stop travel then we must stop the individuals.

I'm certainly not confident in the 'self-quarantine' such as the doctor that was recently utilizing public transportation while symptomatic!!

If the individual isn't going to behave prudently, then perhaps its time to put in place some mandates."
