Elizabeth Scala, MSN/MBA, RN: +Elizabeth Scala What Attracted You To The Field of Nursing?
"How I actually got into nursing is a funny story that my mom likes to remind me of all of the time. My senior year of college I was moving into an apartment with two nursing majors. One of them even had a nurse professor at our school for a mother! So needless to say as we were unpacking our stuff and I was standing there telling them I “didn’t know what I wanted to do when I grew up” they all put their heads together, the four of them (my two roommates to be, my mother, and her mother the nursing professor) and decided I apply to the accelerated nursing program at my college. So for me, it wasn’t so much a “choice” but I am grateful I listened to their guidance every day of my life"
