States Try Again to Block Vaccine Mandate for Healthcare Workers, February 08, 2022:" Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry and 15 other state attorney generals have filed a complaint against HHS and CMS to block the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.
CMS first issued the interim final rule on Nov. 5, 2021. The rule required all staff members at healthcare facilities that participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by Jan. 4, 2022."
