  Clara Reyes de Miranda I concur with Andrew and Maureen and I would add, 1) WATCH other nurses when you are rotating, look at the qualities you wish to emulate, "see" the kind of nurse you want to be 2) when you are doing practice questions do a few at a time and make sure you know WHY each wrong answer is wrong and WHY the right answer is right  Congrats on desiring a powerful and nobel profession

  Andrew Lopez Yes, it is usually not hard to find the ones that are "more receptive" to new #nurses, those that remember what it is like to just start out. Gravitate towards those that will take you under their wing. We are out here

  Patricia Bemis Stay focused and if something you are taught or told doesn't seem right, do your own research to find the answer from official sources. Always go to the source. Your instructor is not the source. Don't try to educate your instructor or other students. Educate yourself.

  Bethany Derricott Above all else, be humble and willing to learn. It doesn't matter if you are right out of high school or coming from the corporate world...when you enter nursing school, everyone is equal and must be willing learn for the sake of patient care.
