NNBA Conference - Nursing Conference in Orlando, Florida


Description:

NNBA Conference 2014 is a gathering of nurse entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs-to-be, self-employed nurses, and nurses in business.  All will be promoting RN independence through consulting, independent contracting, and business ownership on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday October 5, 2014.  Two pre-conferences are available October 3, 2014.

Frank Poliafico, RN, National Nurses in Business Association, Hall of Fame, #NNBA #Nurseup:"Frank Poliafico, RN, is the president of Emergency Training Xcellence, Inc. (ETX) and a recognized leader in emergency medical system (EMS) development.  Poliafico helped pioneer the development of educational programs for emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and emergency nurses.  From 1977 to 1980, he also served as director of EMS for New York City (NYC), where his many accomplishments included creating the NYC EMS Academy and the categorization of NYC’s 77 emergency departments. Since 1980, his private training and consulting firm has applied the advances of EMS systems to the needs of industry and government agencies on land, at sea, in the sky, and on the rails. He is a founding member of and has been honored by several leading professional associations and organizations. 
Poliafico is honored in the Hall of Fame for his many accomplishments and contributions in the field of medical emergency systems development. He has educated countless nurses and paramedics in developing their own businesses in this field.
