Independent Medical Examinations, Dr. Samuel M. Rock:"Independent Medical Examinations concentrate on the patient's progress in psychotherapy (whether in the No-Fault arena or the Workmen's Compensation area). I was asked to do an Independent Medical Examination for a law firm. (Usually, IME companies ask for causality connections- which exist between the accident and the mental problems of the claimants.
