Organized Wisdom, (Nursing, Not For Everyone, Not For Most People) Why Are My Site Name, Meta Tags Plagiarized On Your Pages? site:organizedwisdom.com nursefriendly.com - Google Cache

If your site has been submitted to Organized Wisdom, take note: This is a cached version of the page they plagiarized.

This is one of the tactics that we strongly object to. Organized Wisdom is using my site name, and meta tags to compete with our site in the search engines.

They are infringing on my business name and stealing traffic from our site. And from you if your site has been submitted to Organized Wisdom.

You'd want someone searching for you by name, see your site in the results, would you not?

If Organized Wisdom has their way, their site will show up, with your likeness and a drug ad. How do you feel about your site being used to hawk Brand Name prescriptions?

And since these are fairly new problems, your parents and grandparents might not have all the answers. Well, we don't either. But if you follow these 10 rules to keeping your kid active, you'll have a great head start.
Rule #1: Don't Rely on Organized Sports
Just because your kid is in T-ball doesn't mean that he's active enough. A new study in the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine found that less than 25 percent of student athletes receive the recommended 60 minutes of daily exercise. Plus, the researchers found that the kids spent about 30 minutes of their practice sessions being completely inactive.

This is so very true. See the habits forming, watching TV for hours at a stretch, the sedentary lifestyle, the lack of stamina when outside playing.

Summary: It would seem absurd, that if a physician admits and facility assigns a nurse to care for a known violent patient, that it has no legal obligation to protect that nurse against violence. In this case, a psychiatric patient sought admission to facility. On admission, he threatened to attack a nurse. When the patient would follow through on his threat, the nurse was denied legal recourse against the psychiatrist who could have taken precautions against the attack.

Most Baby Boomers are Unprepared to Care For Aging Parents | The Intentional Caregiver

Yesterday, I was fortunate to be able to interview Mr. Jeff Huber, President of Home Instead Senior Care, the largest provider of in-home care services for seniors in the world and was the first company to offer franchise opportunities.

Most professionals involved with eldercare are aware that adult children are not prepared to care for their parents when they receive “that call” that throws them into the caregiving role. But the Home Instead Senior Care network wanted to learn more about that and so in conjunction with The Boomer Project, a study of 600 baby boomer aged adults was conducted.

The results surprised me:

Less than 50% were knowledgeable about their parents’ medical history

49% were unable to name any of their parents’ current medications

More than 30% did not know just how many medications their parent(s) was taking

Teens skimp on exercise, but not sodas: CDC | Reuters

Only about one in 10 U.S. teens is getting enough exercise and one in four has a soda a day, adding to concerns about obesity among American youth, government researchers said on Thursday.

A team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention looked to see how many students were meeting targets for youth physical activity.
They found about one out of 10 U.S. high school students met U.S. targets for both aerobic and muscle strengthening activities set for the federal government's Healthy People initiative, a list of public health goals.
